Christine Greydanus grew up on a beef farm in southern Ontario. In 1990 along with husband Jack, they purchased a Broiler Breeder poultry farm. The poultry operation has grown over the years and is now managed by son Peter. Meanwhile in 2004 a greenhouse producing sweet peppers was added to the farm enterprise. Christine currently operates the 13-acre greenhouse, now in its third version, produces long English cucumbers.
Christine completed the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP) in 2009, an MBA in Food and Agribusiness in 2012 and a Law Degree in 2015. With the education she licenced as lawyer and has worked as an Adjudicator on agricultural tribunals and boards for the Province of Ontario.
A grandmother to 12, she enjoys time spent with any or all of the lot of them. She loves to travel in whatever and to wherever life leads (vans, trains and aeroplanes). Hobbies include, making maple syrup and gardening.
